I did not always love myself.
I am not a counselor or a therapist. I am a Queen who finally picked up her crown and gracefully placed it back on my head.
I was once afraid, ashamed, in denial, and did not know how to deal with past trauma or hurt. I have spoken to many women and realized how much we helped each other with a simple conversation. I’ve always believed when women have conversations that encourage, motivate, and uplift one another we all have the ability to succeed on our journey.
Everything that has happened in my life, good and bad, was connected to my purpose. I ignored all the signs. I made every excuse not to follow this journey of healing. I made myself feel like I was not educated enough to help other women with their healing process. Boy was I wrong. Some of us just simply need a listening ear and a non-judgmental body.
